A few weeks ago I announced the arrival of our new 4 year old soon-to-be-adopted son, Victor. I just wanted to thank all my readers for their encouraging words and interest in our family! The past few weeks have been a blur of activity and changes, and I'm happy to report we are all doing well.
Not going to say it has been easy all the time, but Vic's progress has been nothing short of amazing!
In the course of a few weeks, Victor has experienced so many new things:
First haircut (with us)
First boat ride
First time on a water slide
First time at the swimming pool (yes, we live in Florida and have been boating and swimming for weeks now in our beautiful "winter" weather- my apologies to all my northern friends!!)
First day at his new preschool
It's been a busy few weeks and there have been so many other "firsts" for him with his new family! I am happy to report that Victor is such a resilient and remarkable boy! We could not be more proud of him, and if all goes well, we hope to finalize his adoption in the next several weeks.
Our adoption story is a true testament to what God can do when you let go of your fears, follow His lead and trust him with your life! Victor has been such a blessing to our family in ways we never could have imagined…please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to raise Victor, and I promise to keep you all regularly updated on his progress!
