It’s only the first week of November, and already I am starting to have a little anxiety!!
Why you ask???
Well, for girls like me, who absolutely LOVE decorating and cooking and crafting- the holiday season is like the SUPERBOWL… I mean, what other time of year is better for decorating and cooking and crafting… right??
So this is typically the time of year when the stress starts mounting (mind you, this is all self-inflicted stress). This is when I start thinking about everything that has to be done and I start to feel overwhelmed- am I the only one who feels this way about the holidays??
I mean, who says the decorations and the food and the crafts and the gifts have to be perfect, right?? And who says I have to feel overwhelmed and stressed? Who says this Christmas has to be bigger and better than last Christmas?
What if…this Christmas was SMALLER and SIMPLER than last Christmas?
And what if this year, I actually ENJOYED the holidays, instead of being exhausted and stressed out?
What if this year, I focused on making special memories and focused on what Christmas is really about?
What if I formulated some sort of plan to enjoy a “Stress-Less Holiday Season”?
I’m an obsessive planner by nature- I love list making and planning for other big events…so what if this year I created an actual PLAN for enjoying a more relaxed “Stress-less Christmas”??
That’s exactly what I am going to do…join me every Friday from now until Christmas for my Stress-Less Holiday Series- tips and ideas to help make the holidays more meaningful and memorable!
