In an effort to simplify the holiday season and actually ENJOY the season more this year, I am getting started a little earlier. I want to be more INTENTIONAL about what is important to me and my family about the holiday season and if I actually take the time to write out what we enjoy and don’t enjoy about Christmas, then I can better plan for a more peaceful and enjoyable holiday.
If I were to break up all the tasks involved in planning a wonderful Christmas, I would organize them into these 5 categories:
1. Decorating the House
2. Entertaining, Parties and Food
3. Gift Shopping and Wrappings
4. Creating Special Memories and Traditions
5. Giving Back- Christmas Service Projects
To help get me started, I have created a printable “Stress-Less Holiday Planner” with a page for each category, where I can write out specific ideas and plans for the upcoming holiday season. As Christmas gets closer, I can start finalizing plans and checking off things.

Print your copy out now, and then plan to join me each Thursday for the next five weeks, where I will be posting about ideas and tips for simplifying the holidays in each of these categories!
Anticipating a more memorable and meaningful Christmas…and wishing that for each of you too!
