Thanksgiving has officially come and gone- now it’s time for the Christmas season! We are kicking things off this week with an amazing Holiday Tablescape Blog Hop! I can’t wait to see all the gorgeous tables and decor (the full list of participating bloggers is at the end of this post) I also have a fun giveaway for one lucky reader this month (details also at the end of this post!)
Now for my coastal cottage style holiday tablescape… I’m teaming up with the folks from Heritage Lace for this pretty holiday table setting. This year, I decided to style the kitchen table for a casual holiday meal.
For the centerpiece, I filled my white pitcher with evergreen branches and red berries, then I added evergreen clippings, pine cones, and starfish to my rope-handled tray alongside hurricane candles.
Red ticking stripe placemats, red woven napkins, and a ticking stripe pillow add a festive, cottage style to the table. (All of these fabulous linens are from Heritage Lace– and you guessed it- the table linens are my Holiday giveaway this month!)

My red and white transferware Christmas plates, decorative white salad plates, and Etsy Shop Starfish Napkin Rings complete the look!
Can you spot something new in here?? Yes- the light fixture! I recently added this gorgeous iron and glass rectangular fixture over the kitchen table from World Market and LOVE it- click HERE for more information.
The simple, clean lines are perfect for this space…and I really love the cute “Edison” bulbs.
Here in Florida, we have no mantle- so it’s always a struggle to figure out where to put the stockings. The past few years I have tied them to the back of the kids dining chairs and added a cute monogrammed tag.
Last year, we had an all-neutral color scheme for Christmas…but this year, the cottage is filled with red for the holidays (SIDENOTE: all my kiddos prefer red for Christmas, so they are thrilled).
Be sure to stop by this Friday for a full tour of Starfish Cottage decorated for the holidays (and another blog hop!!)
All you have to do to win is be sure you are an email subscriber- (if not, sign up in the box on the top right of this page). Then leave me a quick comment with this: #holidaygiveaway
