Every fall, the Walt Disney Orlando Resort celebrates it’s annual International Food and Wine Festival at the Epcot Center. I was so pleased to be able to attend this year, and I must say- it is literally a FEAST for the five senses!
In typical Disney tradition, every LOOKS amazing- beautiful flowers and landscaping, and the World Showcase is bursting with all the best flavors and tastes from around the globe…
Kiosks in front of each country sell small tastings of their signature dishes and drinks. Other events include live tapings of the talk show, The Chew- classes and lectures by world famous chefs as well as exhibits of new agriculture and farming techniques.
I loved this display of tomatoes…
This larger than life grilling Mickey Mouse topiary was so cute!
There is something for everyone at the International Food and Wine Festival…but I must warn you about the crowds! We were there on a Saturday and the World Showcase was VERY CROWDED- I have heard that weekdays are less busy.
I know I always say that there is so much more to see in Florida than Disney World, but a trip to Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival is sooo worth it! This year the festival runs from September 14- November 14…the weather is starting to cool off a little now, so it’s the perfect time to go!
