The hubby is always bringing home fresh fish, and I am always trying new “fish” recipes, this is a simple, easy recipe for fish tacos I threw together the other day with ingredients from the fridge and pantry- it was delicious!
Fresh Florida Red Snapper + salt + pepper + cumin + olive oil + minced garlic + lime zest and juice
I just sautéed everything together until the fish was cooked through. Then I shredded the fish a bit, filled a few tortillas and topped it with:
shredded cheddar cheese + pico + guacamole + lots of fresh chopped cilantro
So simple, but so good- a fabulous alternative to our usual Taco Tuesday’s with ground beef or turkey!
I hope you give this one a try, if you don’t have fresh red snapper, any mild white fish would work too!
Wishing you a wonderful week!
