Hello and welcome to Starfish Cottage! I’m so glad you are here. If you are joining me from the Fall Tablescape Bloghop and you are new to my blog- Starfish Cottage is a Florida-based coastal lifestyle and decorating blog.
A huge thanks to Chole from Celebrate and Decorate for organizing this fabulous blog hop…the tablescapes have all been amazing and so different! If you can, try to take the whole tour- you will be blessed with lots of fall decor inspiration.
Here at Starfish Cottage, I’m constantly updating and decorating our home for the seasons and various holidays and today I am sharing with you a “Florida Fall” Tablescape!
Here in the Sunshine State, we get little to no change of seasons, and “fall” is usually one of the hottest times of year. So I am not breaking out all the pumpkins and fall decor just yet. Instead, I styled our formal dining room with a classic, clean, contemporary table setting with coastal accents.
Instead of fall leaves- I’m using palmetto fronds…and in place of pumpkins and pinecones- I’m using seashells, coral, and starfish! (You would be surprised to see how easy it is to add baby white pumpkins and a few fall leaves to this tablesetting for a more “fall” look, which I will probably do in a few more weeks (just not quite ready yet!!)
I have kept the color palette neutral and my burlap and oyster shell napkin rings add a wonderful natural touch to the table. Here are a few more photos…
If you are a follower of Starfish Cottage, than you know that we have recently just updated our living/dining room areas in a more modern style- lately, I have been more and more drawn to a clean, contemporary coastal look and we are loving how it turned out!!
Thanks so much for joining me today and don’t forget to stop by all the fabulous blogs on the Fall Tablescape Bloghop- (all links listed at the bottom of this post)! Also, don’t forget to enter to win this month’s Starfish Cottage Reader Giveaway- good luck!
