Today I wanted to show you some of the design plans I created for my clients that were the starting point for the whole design.
I strongly believe that the basis for any beautiful room is a great design plan. A design plan is really the first step for any project I am working on. It includes items like paint colors, wall coverings, cabinet finishes, countertops, flooring, rugs, draperies, throw pillows, bedding, furniture selections, artwork and accessories. Here’s how it works:
This was the foyer before:
My clients wanted a lighter, brighter more open space, with a new rug, lighting and some kind of table and artwork on the narrow wall to the right of the front door.
This is the design plan I proposed:

This is the family room before:
My clients again wanted to lighten things up in here, with clean lines and contemporary style, also they wanted to keep their existing leather sectional sofa.

Here is a photo of the kitchen before our updates:
A design plan is a great place to start when working on a space. After developing a design plan, we refine it and revise it, then I give my clients a detailed order/shopping list so they can get everything on order to finish the room. For my Tampa Bay area clients, I then bring in all the “little things” to finish the project off.
The BIG NEWS today is that now I am offering my “design plan” services to everyone, regardless of WHERE you live! Tune in tomorrow for more details on my new E-Design services…can’t wait to share more details on this fabulous new service.
