Who doesn't love a beach house?
I thought I would share with you all one of my all-time favorite beach houses, from the movie, Something's Gotta Give.
The movie is set in the Hamptons and the majority of the movie is filmed at the beach house of Diane Keaton's character.
The exterior photo is a real beach house in the Hamptons, the rest of the photos were created as a movie set by set designer, Beth Rubino.
Ahhh- the Living Room is so beautiful and homey- I could move right in!
Love the large striped area rug and large seating area- also those big, beautiful ceilings.
Here is another shot of the living room.
I am also loving the bookshelves and woven chairs in this little reading area.
The dining room features a gorgeous round table with slipcovered chairs and more built in bookshelves, which have bead board and are filled with creamware dishes…so pretty.
The kitchen is fabulous too- classic white cabinets with subway tile backsplash and black stone countertops…so pretty! And that huge island- love it.
Diane Keaton's bedroom and writing area might be one of my favorites…just look at that enormous desk and gorgeous view! How would she get any work done with a view like that?
Here is a shot of the pool area- not bad, right?
Like I said, if you haven't seen the movie, you should it's REALLY funny and the house is amazing!!
Have a fabulous weekend.
