I am thrilled today to be joining some of my favorite blog buddies for this year’s B Home for Christmas Blog Hop. I have been enjoying all of the amazing holiday inspiration all week, and today, I’m taking you all on a mini-tour of Starfish Cottage decked out for the holiday season!
This year, my family insisted on a traditional RED color scheme (I like to change it up every year), so touches of red are see throughout the cottage! (As always, you will see I put a “coastal spin” on all my holiday decor). Grab a cup of hot cocoa, sit back and relax- I hope you enjoy the tour!
I hung our pretty Southern Nest monogram on our evergreen wreath with a large red bow and plenty of starfish…then a pretty pot of red poinsettias.
New this year are two large containers of palms, where I also added a few poinsettias.
I know that I said I decorated with the color RED this year, but I did keep the Entry/Living/Dining Rooms mostly neutral!! Here are a few photos…
The Living Room-
The Dining Room-
Here’s my big, bold pop of RED…the tree!
The Family Room-
Ok, now for some more traditional reds…the Family Room and Kitchen have LOTS of red accents.
This year, I was honored to work with Heritage Lace, and used their cute ticking striped pillows and table linens…I just love the simple, casual, cottage touch they add to my home!
I know some people think I’m crazy, but this year I decided to decorate our bedroom a little for the holidays…
Thanks so much for joining me on this “mini” tour of the cottage. In honor of the holiday season of giving- Starfish Cottage is also holding a very special reader giveaway…
This month, I am giving away this cute set of four red ticking stripe placemats AND set of four woven red napkins, courtesy of Heritage Lace.
