Now that the kiddos are back in school- mom is back to work! I’m happy to announce that I am now accepting E-Design Clients. I have been wanting to add this type of design service for a while, but I feel that now is a good time. I often get readers and followers who ask if I can work for them on their homes, but they live REALLY FAR AWAY…so the distance is a bit of a problem…but after doing some research, I realized that MANY interior designers have added this type service for their long distance clients, so I’m going to give it a try!
What is E-Design?
E Design is a cost-effective and convenient way of providing customized professional design services directly to you, regardless of where you live. The entire process is completed via email, and phone calls. E-Design will also give you the flexibility to execute your custom design plan at your convenience, based on your personalized time frame and budget. All design plan selections should be items readily available from major national and online retailers, so shopping and ordering items will be quick and easy, when you are ready!
After completing a simple online consultation, you will receive:
- a beautiful custom design plan for your space
- a personal one-on-one consultation to discuss your plan and any questions you may have
- a comprehensive order list of all items needed to implement your design
Your custom design plan will include some (or all) of the following items depending on the scope of your project:
- Selections for furniture, artwork, accessories, lighting fixtures, rugs, window treatments, bedding, accent pillows, throw blankets, etc…
- Finish Selections- flooring, wall coverings, paint colors, cabinet finish/colors, countertops, tile, backsplash, cabinet hardware, etc…
- Simple space planning and elevation drawings to help you see how the room will be arranged and look when finished.
How does E-Design work?
Step 1- Tell me all about YOU and your space.
You will receive an e-mail questionnaire to complete that helps me understand your design needs and goals for your space. Complete your questionnaire and submit with photos and measurements your space. Also submit links to any Pinterest boards or online photos of rooms you love to get a better understanding of your style!
Step 2- Schedule your private one-on-one phone consultation.
After receiving your consultation questionnaire, photos and measurements, I will contact you to set up a personal one on one consultation, this is when we will speak over the phone and you will be emailed your design plan and we can discuss everything!
Step 3- I work on developing your totally customized design plan.
I will get busy developing a beautiful, completely custom design plan for your space based on your personal needs and wants. If any questions arise during the process, I will be in touch.
Step 4- Telephone consultation day and design plan sent via e-mail.
On the day of our personal consultation, I will contact you by phone and you will be emailed your design plan so we can review and discuss everything, and make final decisions and selections.
Step 5- Revisions are made and your final order list is sent.
After making final revisions, decisions and selections, I will follow up our meeting with a comprehensive order list so you are able to execute your design plan at your convenience.
Sample Design Plans:
How much does it cost?
I currently charge $200 per room for a custom design plan.
$100 deposit is collected at the beginning of the project, along with a contract including terms and conditions.
$100 balance is collected the day of your personal consultation.
What if I just need a little help?
If you don’t need a full design plan and just want to bounce some ideas off me and ask a few specific questions, we can set up a private telephone consultation and you will be just charged my hourly rate of $75 an hour!
