Happy Monday, everyone!
Hoping everyone had a wonderful weekend, I know we did. Today I am joining a fabulous blog hop featuring beautiful alfresco dining tables, decor and ideas in celebration of summer!
Since August is REALLY, REALLY hot here in Florida, I chose super soft and cool neutral tones for our outdoor table setting. I used a remnant of grey fabric with white anchors as my table runner…(in case you didn’t know, I am featuring “Coastal Grey” decor all this month at the cottage!!)
I used soft grey napkins with these gorgeous new Oyster Shell Napkin Rings from my Etsy shop! CLICK HERE for more details and photos.
**Spoiler Alert: a set of these napkin rings will be my reader appreciation giveaway this month, so be sure to stop by the cottage tomorrow for details on how to win!!
It’s hard to tell, but I also used outdoor acrylic plates and stemware from Homegoods for this table setting. I am always so impressed with the beautiful designs and quality of outdoor dinnerware these days, it’s pretty enough to use inside or outside, don’t you think!?
For the centerpiece, I used my all-time favorite flowers, white hydrangeas, along with a pair of rope handled glass hurricane vases and a large conch shell.
We purchased this square wooden dining table a few years ago and love it! Our covered porch is square-shaped so it fits perfectly.
I always love to add pretty pillows and cushions to our rattan dining chairs, besides making it look pretty, it adds so much comfort! Don’t you love to linger at the table after a wonderful meal!?
Here are a few more photos of the table setting…
While photographing today, the bugs were really bad…so it reminds me that we really should screen this area in and eat out here more often, it’s so pretty!
Thanks so much for joining me today, and a special thanks to Chole from Celebrate and Decorate Blog for organizing this fabulous blog hop. PLEASE be sure to check out all the other beautiful outdoor table settings this week, the schedule and links are listed below. You will no doubt be inspired!
