Every Wednesday this month, I am featuring a delicious Slow Cooker meal, and today might be one of the easiest…it is a variation of the Slow Cooker Mojo Pork dish I shared last week and only has 2 ingredients…your favorite BBQ sauce and a large Boston Butt Pork Roast.
First, place the pork roast (fat side up) in the slow cooker, then pour the entire bottle of sauce on top and set the timer for 8-10 hours…ITS THAT EASY!
When it's ready, the pork roast will be so tender, the meat will literally fall apart- I remove the roast and shred it on a baking sheet- I like to serve it on a large platter with a variety of BBQ sauces.
You can also serve it with buns for sandwiches or sliders…
To go with it, I usually serve my favorite Light Asian Coleslaw, Potato Salad, and Baked Beans.
By the way- this is my GO TO MEAL for entertaining and here's why:
1. It's super easy.
2. It feeds a crowd.
3. Clean-up is a breeze.
4. You can prepare it ahead of time.
5. Here in the South…people LOVE BBQ!!
It also makes a great busy weeknight meal for the family…Give it a try sometime!
